What is the suggested amount that I should offer per bottle?

The minimum amount that can be offered per bottle on the web-site is $150. While it is possible that some of the partner venues will accept an offer of $150 per bottle, most will not. We suggest that you offer no less that 40% of the listed retail price. If you offer less than this amount, then you run the risk of a nightclub not taking you seriously.

Are sales tax and gratuity included in the purchase amount?

Sales tax is included in the purchase amount of all sales. Gratuity will be included in the purchase amount, if the venue has specified that it needs to be. If gratuity is added to your offer, you will be able to see it when the clubs respond to you.

If Gratuity is not included, how can I pay it?

If gratuity is not included in your package, it will be up to you to decide how to pay it. Some of the clubs will collect a credit card when you check in may add the gratuity automatically. This is called "AUTOGRAT" and it is standard practice for bottle service. If the venue does not automatically charge for gratuity, then we suggest that you arrange to take care of the tip when you sit down.

What is an acceptable amount of Gratuity?

Velvet Nightlife suggests a gratuity of 18 to 20% of the price of your package. If you receive exceptional service, then we would encourage you to tip more.

If I purchase a table package from Velvet Nightlife, am I guaranteed entry to the club?

Yes. Our agreements with partner venues ensure this. However, the venue does have the ability to turn a reservation away if the party does not meet its dress code requirements or the group is visibly intoxicated when they arrive at the venue.

Is there a minimum bottle amount that is required for a specific number of people?

Velvet Nightlife suggests that you offer no less than 1 bottle for every six people. This is not a requirement however as clubs often accept offers of one bottle for 10-15 guests.
